Sticky Date Bread

It’s not fall until there’s pumpkin bread in the oven. Ours? A sticky date pumpkin loaf, rich with Brightland's silky Alive Extra Virgin Olive Oil and swirls of sSpring & Mulberry’s fudgy, date-sweetened Pure Dark chocolate. ⁠

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. ⁠
  2. Start by pitting your dates and pouring boiling water over until all are fully submerged. Let sit for 10 minutes, or until they soften. ⁠
  3. Add all dry ingredients in a bowl, and mix. ⁠
  4. Drain any remaining water from the soaking dates, adding the dates to the bowl of dry ingredients. Add all wet ingredients and chocolate. Mix until combined, and dates have broken up.
  5. Oil a bread tin and pour in batter. Bake for 30-35 minutes. ⁠
  6. Slice, and top with optional whipped cream, chocolate shavings and dates. Enjoy!
