For All the Mothers in Our Lives

Mother's day might look a little different this year, but one thing remains the same — we are so grateful to the women who raised us.

Here at Brightland, we have a serious love affair with all things analog, which has become increasingly difficult under quarantine conditions. It feels as though life has become an endless stream of Zoom calls, texts, emails, and breaking news alerts.

We decided to take a trip to kitchens past. We asked a few dear friends to dig up their old family recipes — the ones with faded ink scribbled on oil-stained index cards and tucked away in keepsake boxes on top shelves. From Aishwarya's mother's raisin bran muffin to Peter Som's grandmother's lemon chicken, to Alexa Buckley's Grandma Mimi's pecan balls — we lovingly share these timeless recipes with you in a printed booklet this Mother's Day.

With every oil purchase, you have the option of adding a complimentary Relics of Kitchens Past booklet. And for orders of The Artist Capsule, you will help us donate fifty meals to those who need it most, in partnership with Feeding America.

We'll do everything we can to bring a little brightness into your home and your heart. Happy Mother's Day from all of us at Brightland.
