Grilled pineapple is one of summer's best delights: it comes together in no time at all and makes the perfect topping for teriyaki glazed meats. Or try it with your favorite vanilla ice cream or olive oil cake!
Quick Grilled Pineapple
- 1 ripe pineapple peeled, cored and cut into 3/4 inch thick slices
- LUCID lemon olive oil
- Coarse crystal salt
Preheat a grill or (grill pan) to medium heat - between 350 and 450 F.
Brush the pan or grill grates with plenty of LUCID olive oil to prevent sticking.
Place the pineapple slices on the grill in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and tender.
Drizzle with a dash of LUCID olive oil an a sprinkle of sea salt.
Serve the pineapple by itself, with teriyaki glazed meats, or as a topping for ice cream or olive oil cake.
