The Farmlink Project is Feeding Millions from Surplus Food
For every purchase of our new, limited-run olive oil trios, The Robust Trio and The Verdant Trio, we are donating 16 meals to communities in need in partnership with The Farmlink Project.
Each year in the United States, billions of pounds of food goes to waste. At the same time, millions of Americans suffer from food insecurity. The Farmlink Project is a student-run movement connecting unsold nutritious produce from farms to communities in need. We are proud to support The Farmlink Project’s mission to end food insecurity by repurposing surplus produce.
The Farmlink Project's team comprises more than 100 students from colleges and universities across the country. When college campuses closed in March 2020 in response to COVID-19, many students found themselves back at home with the urge to help those struggling in this pandemic. The Farmlink Project was born in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and they have plans to become a long-term and sustainable organization in the fight against food insecurity and food waste.
They have since delivered over 25 million pounds of produce to food banks and communities in need. Shop our new, limited-run olive oil trios to give back and support The Farmlink Project.
